1. License Overview
ChatBot Pro is offered under a commercial Software as a Service (SaaS) license. This license governs your use of our platform, services, and API.

3. License Restrictions
You may NOT:
Reverse Engineering
Decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer our platform or AI models
Resale or Redistribution
Sell, lease, license, or redistribute access to our services
Competing Services
Use our platform to create competing AI chatbot services
Exceed Usage Limits
Exceed the API calls, storage, or other limits specified in your plan
Illegal Activities
Use our services for illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes

5. API Usage Limits
API usage is limited based on your subscription plan:

Rate limits are enforced per API key. Exceeding limits will result in HTTP 429 status codes.
6. Intellectual Property
Our Intellectual Property
ChatBot Pro retains all rights, title, and interest in and to:
- Software code and algorithms
- AI models and training data
- Platform design and user interface
- Documentation and training materials
- Trademarks, logos, and brand elements
- API specifications and protocols
User Content
You retain ownership of content you create or provide, but you grant us:
- A license to use your content for service provision
- Right to analyze anonymized data for service improvement
- Permission to use aggregated data for analytics
7. License Termination
Termination by User
You may terminate your license at any time by canceling your subscription. Access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Termination by ChatBot Pro
We may terminate your license for:
- Violation of license terms
- Non-payment of subscription fees
- Illegal or prohibited use
- Breach of terms of service
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, you must cease all use of our services and delete any downloaded materials. We may delete your data after 30 days unless required by law to retain it.
8. Warranty and Disclaimer
Our services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.
No Express Warranties
We make no express warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or performance of our services.
Implied Warranties Disclaimed
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
AI Limitations
AI responses may contain errors or inaccuracies. Users should verify all AI-generated content before use.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChatBot Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Our total liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
10. Governing Law
This license shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States.
Any disputes arising from this license shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco, California.
If you are accessing our service from outside the United States, you agree that local laws may not apply to this license.
11. License Updates
We may update this license from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
We will notify users of significant changes through:
- Email notifications to registered users
- In-app notifications
- Website banners or announcements
- Updated "Last modified" date
Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified license.
